Creating Spaces for Children to Grow, Families to Connect and Communities to Flourish

Every child deserves to feel seen, safe, and supported. Through play, connection, creativity, and community, Puddleduck Collective provides therapeutic, educational, and social experiences that nurture wellbeing, confidence, and belonging.

About Puddleduck Collective

At Puddleduck Collective, we believe that healing, growth and connection happen when people feel safe, understood and accepted exactly as they are.

Founded by Karina Offley, an experienced educator, counsellor and integrative sand play therapist, Puddleduck Collective was created to provide a nurturing and creative space where children, young people and families can access support that is compassionate, individualised and relationship-focused.

With over 20 years of experience in education and more than six years working therapeutically with children and families, Karina brings a unique blend of professional knowledge, creativity and genuine care to every interaction. Our approach is child-led, trauma-informed and neuroaffirming, recognising that every person's journey is different.

We offer counselling, integrative sand play therapy, therapeutic groups, home school groups, parent support and nature-based experiences designed to foster emotional wellbeing, connection, confidence and resilience. Whether through play, creativity, movement, conversation or time spent in nature, we create opportunities for children and families to explore, heal and grow at their own pace.

At Puddleduck Collective, we don't believe in one-size-fits-all support. We believe in meeting people where they are, celebrating their strengths and walking alongside them as they discover their own path forward.

Integrative Sand Play Therapy

Integrative Sand Play Therapy is a powerful, evidence-informed therapeutic approach that allows individuals to explore experiences, emotions and challenges beyond words. Through the use of sand, symbols and metaphor, clients can access both conscious and unconscious processes, supporting deeper insight, healing and personal growth.

The sensory and creative nature of sand play engages and integrates both the left and right hemispheres of the brain, helping to bridge cognitive understanding with emotional experience. This process can support nervous system regulation, trauma processing, emotional expression and the development of new pathways for resilience and wellbeing.

At Puddleduck Collective, sand play therapy provides a safe, empowering and non-judgemental space where children, adolescents and adults can explore their inner world at their own pace, fostering self-awareness, healing and lasting change.

Homeschool Educational Programs

At Puddleduck Collective, we believe that a sense of wellbeing and belonging forms the foundation for meaningful learning. Our homeschool educational programs provide engaging, small-group learning experiences for children from Early Stage 1 through to Stage 3, where curiosity, connection and confidence are nurtured alongside academic growth.

Led by Karina Offley, a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Education, over 20 years of teaching experience and current registration with NESA, our programs combine evidence-based educational practice with creativity, nature, collaboration and hands-on learning. Each program is thoughtfully designed to support the unique strengths, interests and learning styles of participating children, creating a space where every child feels safe, valued and empowered to learn.

Programs are aligned with the NSW curriculum, and families will receive a copy of the program linked to relevant curriculum outcomes for their educational records and planning. At the heart of every Puddleduck program is our commitment to fostering connection, wellbeing, belonging and a lifelong love of learning.

The Ripple Effect- support circle

At Puddleduck Collective, we recognise that when parents and caregivers feel supported, connected and empowered, the positive effects extend far beyond the individual and into families, communities and future generations. Designed with women and mothers at its heart, this nurturing community also welcomes all caregivers seeking connection, understanding and support. Through meaningful conversations, shared experiences and practical strategies, The Ripple Effect fosters wellbeing, belonging and the reminder that no one is meant to navigate parenting alone.

At Puddleduck Collective, we recognise that parenting can be both deeply rewarding and incredibly challenging. Our parent support services provide a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space for parents and caregivers to feel heard, supported and empowered. Drawing on therapeutic and educational expertise, we work alongside families to strengthen understanding, build confidence and develop practical strategies that support both parent and child wellbeing. We believe that when parents feel connected, capable and supported, the positive effects ripple throughout the entire family
